Laila Deeb

Laila is a software engineer/Product owner based in Brussels working with The Synergist.

Prior to product ownership role, Laila worked with startups and also worked as a Lecturer in Software engineering department -Tishreen University.

Throughout her life, she had a sincere interest in exploring and educating tech topics, also in empowering women.

Laila aims to give more visibility to women in technology and deeper knowledge of tech topics, especially for Syrian Women.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, exercising, and cooking. 

Rana Farah

Rana is Data management/ICT staff at GOPA/DERD.

Rana worked as administrative employee and Computer Science lecturer at Al-Ba’ath University. Rana studied information technology engineering at Al-Ba’ath University.

She graduated in 2013 with a degree in computer science engineering and currently studying Master of Business Administration at Syrian Virtual University.

Rana aims to empower the role of women in society, especially the Syrian society. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, and cooking.

Noura Boubou

Noura Boubou is a junior data scientist at Everis Company.

Noura studied information technology engineering at Tishreen University then got a scholarship for a master’s degree from the University of Sapienza in Rome, Italy.

During her studies, Noura was the media director for the Arab and African contest between 2018-2020, and also interred in amazon as an IT support engineer.

She graduated in 2020 with a degree in computer science engineering.

Noura loves food, cooking, sport, and traveling all around!

Yara Dib

Yara Dib is an Architect based in Germany working at Kadawittfeldarchitektur.

She studied Architecture at Al Baath University in Syria , then worked as a graphic designer with Highlight Production for 3 years.

Yara aims to encourage women to pursue their career interests and overcome all the challenges.

In her free time, she enjoys drawing, photography and spending time with friends . 

Christine Akkari

Christine Akkari is a project manager interior designer at Studio Marco Piva.
